Washington County Hospital is a not-for-profit, Critical Access Hospital established to support a health delivery system dedicated to serving the health care needs for the people of Washington County and surrounding areas. The Washington County Hospital is county owned and governed by a seven member Board of Directors. The Washington Clinic is located across the street from the hospital. Dr. David Hodgson and Annette Helms, NP represent the medical staff at WCH and the clinic.
WCH includes 25 acute care beds along with many other services. Since its opening in 1952, the hospital has provided quality healthcare by remaining focused on the needs of the patient. WCH has benefited from the support received through an active foundation, its highly regarded auxiliary, Hearts N’ Things and most importantly the community it serves.
WCH offers a comprehensive slate of services including but not limited to: Electrocardiogram (EKG), Ultrasound, CT and MRI, Mammography, Bone Density, Echocardiographs, Doppler’s, Non-invasive Vascular Testing, Cardiac Rehab, Surgical Procedures, Audiology, Urology, Podiatry, 24 Hour Emergency Room, Acute Care and Observation, Swing Bed, Respite Care, Intermediate Care Swing Bed, Laboratory, Blood Bank, Lifeline, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Healthwise 55 Lunch Bunch, Wellness Center, and Obstetrics (including delivery & newborn care).
